Good Shepherd Parish Boundary Lines

Description of the boundaries of the Parish of Good Shepherd, Camp Hill

In Cumberland County:
In East Pennsboro Twp including Camp Hill Borough and that portion of Lemoyne north of the Pennsylvania Railroad (Conrail); west of the boundary of Wormleysburg Borough and south of the Conodoguinet Creek and Route T-623 (Beech Run Lane).

In Hampden Township:
South and East of a line running from Route T-623 (Beech Run Lane) on the eastern township border; westward into Golfview Drive; T-618 (Orr’s Bridge Road) to Route T-621 (Creekview Road) to a point of junction with LR21016 (Good Hope Road); southward by direct airline from the point of junction of T-621 (Creekview Road) and LR21016 (Good Hope Road) to the Conodoguinet Creek; southeastward along Conodoguinet Creek to the bridge at LR21016 (Good Hope Road) southward on LR21016 into Sporting Hill Road to Route 11 (Harrisburg Expressway); follow Route 11 (Harrisburg Expressway) eastward to LR21079 (Saint John’s Church Road) to the southern township border.

In Lower Allen Township:
Northeast of LR21079 (Saint John’s Church Road) and northeast of the former Reading Railroad.

The parish limits have been precisely determined and described as they are presently known.  Any subsequent changes, on the part of the civil authorities, in names, numbers or locations, do not affect the parish territory unless the Ordinary so decrees.

Where counties or townships (or parts thereof) are mentioned, the cities or boroughs within their boundaries are included.  When streets or highways are mentioned the middle thereof is understood.  Highway routings, place names and geographical divisions are taken from the "General Highway Map," special edition, of Cumberland county prepared by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways in 1974.

Given at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the 21st day of September, 1988.

Bishop of Harrisburg
